01The short version
Sold by SIA Sneeds, registration number 40203301249, Klusā iela 18–55, Rīga, LV-1013, Latvia. Orders are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, which issues refunds on our behalf.
02Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. In the app, go to Settings → Plan → Manage subscription, which opens Paddle's billing portal. You can also use the link in any Paddle receipt email.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your Plus features stay available until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Cancelling never deletes your family data. If you go back to the free plan while over its limits, extra child profiles become read-only rather than deleted — their history stays intact and unlocks again if you resubscribe.
03Refunds
We offer a 30-day refund on BrightPoints Plus, from the date of the charge you are asking about:
- First purchase — refunded in full within 30 days, for any reason.
- A renewal you didn't intend to pay for — tell us within 30 days of that renewal and we will refund it in full. We would rather refund a forgotten renewal than keep money you didn't mean to spend.
- Something didn't work — if a Plus feature was broken or unavailable, tell us and we will refund the affected period even if the 30 days have passed.
- A duplicate or accidental charge — refunded in full, whenever we find it.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once approved, Paddle processes the refund immediately; how quickly it appears is up to your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days.
Beyond 30 days we look at requests individually and in good faith. Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law.
04EU and UK right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. This right sits alongside our 30-day policy above, which is more generous — you can rely on whichever helps you more.
To withdraw, it is enough to tell us clearly, by email to hello@brightpoints.app, that you are withdrawing from the contract. We will refund all payments received without undue delay, and within 14 days at the latest.
Because BrightPoints Plus is digital content that is made available to you straight away, we ask you to acknowledge at checkout that you want access to begin immediately. Where the service has been used in that period, we may reduce the refund proportionally to what you used — in practice we rarely do.
05How to request a refund
Email hello@brightpoints.app with the email address you used at checkout and, if you have it, the Paddle order or invoice number from your receipt. That is all we need. You can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.net, where you can look up your order and request help with billing.
We reply to refund requests within 2 business days, and always tell you the outcome in writing.
06If a child made the purchase
A child cannot buy anything in BrightPoints — the child app has no purchases, no payment screen, and no advertising. Only a signed-in parent account can subscribe. If a purchase was nevertheless made on your account without your permission, contact us and we will refund it.
07If you are unhappy with the outcome
Please contact us first — almost everything is quicker to resolve by email. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected by this policy.
